Numerous Break-ins Reported at Triple A RV
Medford Police in Oregon are seeking assistance to stop a string of break-ins at the Triple A RV.
This story by Jennevieve Fong originally appeared in KTVL News 10.
The RV dealership has been burglarized for the third time this week. The suspect broke into more than eight vehicles on the lot.
Police said the intruder is finding entry into the gated lot, breaking into RVs, and leaving them completely ransacked.
“They’re targeting televisions and they’re big screen TVs,” Lt. Mike Budreau said. “If somebody is trying to off-load a big screen TV or carrying one around in the middle of the night that’s another clue.”
Due to the timing of the crimes, law enforcement said they are “confident that [they] are dealing with the same suspect or suspects in all three cases.”
Security footage of the potential suspect was captured on camera.
Budreau said the break-ins are a reminder to RV owners to keep their vehicles secure at all times.
Anyone with information on this suspect can call or text Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580 and refer to case number KTVL 08-21-18.
Depending on the case and the information is given, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and filing of charges.
