Myers RV Center in Albuquerque, N.M., was recently awarded the Larry Coker Commitment Award at the 15th annual ROUTE 66 RV Network Rally.
“This award is presented annually to the ROUTE 66 dealership that most fully embraces and reflects an all-in commitment to the Network, their associates and customers,” said Rob Merrill, ROUTE 66 partner. “Larry Coker, a past advisory board member and employee of the Network, passed away suddenly in 2009 after completing an assignment of conducting training at every ROUTE 66 dealership.”
Myers RV Center, family-owned and operated, was founded in 1978 and has frequently earned Customer Service Excellence Awards over the years from both Fleetwood and Newmar, the network stated.
“Having known Larry personally as a friend and co-board member … this is particularly a special honor,” said John Myers, president of the dealership and past ROUTE 66 Advisory Board member. “His solid dedication and tireless efforts toward establishing the ROUTE 66 brand in our dealerships coast-to-coast was critical to the Network’s early and on-going success.”
