LCI, Taylor Made Announce Marine Brand Strategy
Lippert Components and its subsidiary Taylor Made Group have announced a new branding strategy that will brand all current and future marine products made by both LCI and Taylor Made under the Taylor Made name.
LCI acquired Taylor Made in January 2018. Effective immediately, all LCI and Taylor Made products manufactured for both OEMs and the related aftermarkets will be branded as Taylor Made products.
LCI’s Platinum Series Pontoon Furniture will transition to the Taylor Made brand name. Taylor Made manufactures a large selection of marine products, including manually and power actuated doors, roof systems, hatches, direct-bond glass, and canvas enclosures.
“The strength of the Taylor Made name is unmatched within the marine industry,” said Jason Lippert, LCI’s CEO. “Throughout our branding discussions, we emphasized how important it was to continue to build upon the legacy of quality, performance, and superior service that the Taylor Made name has become synonymous with.”
“We’re very excited to take on the marine product offerings under the Taylor Made name,” said Jason Pajonk-Taylor, vice president of Taylor Made. “With a history in the marine market dating back to 1908, Taylor Made’s reputation has steadily strengthened over the last 100-plus years. Combining the excellence in engineering and design that LCI’s products bring to the table, our marine product lines will continue to flourish and evolve.”
Over the last several years, LCI has worked to develop its product presence within the marine marketplace, according to the company. Lippert Components Manufacturing recently acquired the business and certain assets of the furniture manufacturing operation of Smoker Craft.
