Glomex Antennas Posts 357 Percent Sales Growth
Glomex Marine Antennas U.S.A. has posted 357 percent sales growth in its first year. The figure was fueled by the company securing relationships with more than 250 distributors, dealers and rep groups throughout the U.S. and Canada. The North American presence of Italian manufacturer Glomex SRL launched in January 2018.
“Brand recognition was a hurdle for us when we started in North America,” said Raffaele Fabbri, Glomex CEO. “We applied our successful European business model and the results have been dramatic. Consumers in the U.S. and Canada value technology and appreciate our innovative products and value-driven pricing.”
In 2018, the company won two Boating Industry Top Product of the Year awards for its weBBoat 4G Plus coastal Internet integrated system and Nashira AGC, its omnidirectional DVB-T2 TV antenna with automatic gain control amplifier.
“2019 will be an exciting year for us,” said Chris Catoe, VP of sales and marketing, Glomex Marine Antennas U.S.A. “We’re pushing to increase our saturation in the RV and commercial marine markets, and will be introducing several new products. Also, we’ll continue to strengthen our distribution network with additional sales channels.”
Among the many customers secured in 2018 are CWR Wholesale Distribution, Defender Marine, Langer-Krell Marine Electronics and Sea Ray Boats.
