RVIA Details Plans for 2nd Annual Industry Awards
The RV Industry Awards at RVX are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at the Depot in Salt Lake City to recognize industry achievement, leadership and the contributions of various individuals and companies.
The second annual event held during RVX: The RV Experience features several industry awards including RV Dealers Association’s Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI), Quality Circle Awards, RVBusiness Magazine’s RISE Awards for suppliers, the David J. Humphreys RV Industry Unity Award, the Distinguished Service to the RV Industry Award and the second annual 40 Under 40 presentation coordinated by the RV Industry Association.
Based on the results of RVDA’s Dealer Satisfaction Index survey, commonly known as the DSI, the RVDA Quality Circle Awards will recognize manufacturers rated highest by their respective dealers in several important areas of dealer and customer support. Six motorized manufacturers and seven towable builders will be recognized at the event based on dealer satisfaction regarding reliability and quality, parts, warranty and sales.
The Distinguished Service to the RV Industry Award is presented to an individual within the RV industry who has set himself or herself apart by outstanding service and the David J Humphreys RV Industry Unity Award was established by RVIA to recognize an individual who continuously strives to encourage the multiple constituencies of the RV industry to work collectively for the growth and betterment of the industry. Both of these awards will be presented by RVIA during the event.
Finally, winners of the second annual 40 under 40 Awards, identifying current and future leaders in the RV industry who are under 40 years of age, will be recognized. These 40 individuals have been selected for exhibiting potential to help advance the RV industry by striving to make a difference in their organization.
