Winnebago Towables has hired Joel Eberlein as general manager of the Middlebury, Ind.-based operation and will oversee sales, marketing, engineering, and product development.
“Joel has a great vision for both sales and product direction, with a proven track record of execution,” said Scott Degnan, VP of Winnebago’s towables business. “He is a strong communicator who is customer-focused with profound leadership capabilities.”
Eberlein brings more than 15 years of industry experience, as well as a deep understanding of both supplier and OEM businesses to his new role. Previously, Eberlein has held positions as senior general manager at Heartland RV and worked as a business line manager at Crane Energy Flow Solutions.
“We are fortunate to have someone of Joel’s caliber and experience join our team,” said Degnan. “Through his leadership, we can work to successfully implement our strategy and take advantage of the market opportunities ahead.”
Eberlein earned his bachelor’s of science from Olivet Nazarene University, as well as an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He lives in Edwardsburg, Mich., with his wife and five children.
