Lippert Elevates Faludy to Vice President
Lippert Components on Tuesday promoted Tom Faludy to vice president of global growth and strategic development. Faludy has served as a senior consultant and strategic advisor for LCI over the past five years.
As vice president of global growth and strategic development, Faludy will work alongside LCI’s Corporate Leadership and Acquisition teams to establish and execute long-term acquisition strategies, domestically, but also internationally as LCI continues to expand its global footprint. He will also help guide the company’s global growth efforts in the aftermarket channels that the LCI and Taylor Made brands serve.
“Tom’s experience within the RV industry is unparalleled. He brings with him a well-rounded background, working with some of the world’s leading RV businesses,” said Jason Lippert, LCI’s CEO. “Tom is something of a legend within the RV industry, and we’re very excited to see him strive to propel growth for our brands as we continue to cultivate our global growth strategy.”
Faludy brings with him nearly 50 years of experience in sales, marketing, and strategic business growth. Faludy graduated from Indiana University South Bend in 1972 and began his career as vice president and creative director for a full-service advertising agency then owned by one of the leading U.S. RV manufacturers.
He then served in managerial and directorial roles for Carefree of Colorado and Camping World, later returning to Carefree of Colorado as president. He was then promoted to a corporate officer role at The Scott Fetzer Company (Carefree’s parent company and a private subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway), where he was the executive vice president responsible for 11 operating divisions and mergers and acquisitions.
Faludy has most recently served as president of TGF Enterprises, which works with proprietors and CEOs of private and public companies to craft profitable business models and plans for sustained growth.
“It is an honor to officially take this step and join the LCI team. Over the past few years, as I’ve served as an advisor to Jason, I’ve come to greatly respect the business culture, explosive growth, mission, and core values that LCI has embedded into its daily operations,” said Faludy. “I’m excited to continue to utilize my years of experience to support the growth of LCI and the RV industry.”
Two of the most notable awards that Faludy has received throughout his career are the RVIA Distinguished Service Award and the Eagle Catcher Award for exceptional sustained top- and bottom-line performance while at the Scott Fetzer Company.
