CUB Debut Blind-Spot Safety System

With the Fourth of July coming up, a lot of families will take to the road in motorhomes or with trailers in tow on their way to a cook-out and firework-filled camping adventure.

One of the steps to being safer on the road is the CUB RV Blind Spot Detection System.

These easy-to-install devices are compatible with nearly all motorhomes and trailers, including fifth wheels. All CUB devices include both Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Alert technologies that are automatically activated when the vehicle exceeds 15 mph. The warning zone of the system covers the left and right adjacent lanes with over 75 ft of range, illuminating the warning indicator if there is a vehicle in your blind spot and sounding a warning tone if a vehicle is detected approaching at high speeds that would result in an impact of less than 2 seconds during a lane change.

The CUB RV Blind Spot Detection System uses radar to see what drivers can’t – it works in bad weather, at night, with or without reception, and in tunnels (some of the most common problems with GPS). It’s the world’s first and only company to provide radar based blind spot detection system for trailers.

Most importantly, the CUB RV Blind Spot Detection System helps to ease the worries and stress associated with driving motorhomes or towing trailers.
