Keystone RV has announced that the Cougar posted record sales for July, with double digit growth in year-over year sales from 2018 and topping the previous July record, set in 2015. Dealers and customers appear to be responding to the 2020 exterior redesign and product refinements, according to the company. Cougar’s new 364BHL floorplan has a lofted second bedroom and one-and-a-half baths.
“The response to the first wave of 2020 changes is beyond expectations,” said Matt Christensen, Cougar product manager. “Many of our dealers have chosen to go deeper with the brand and are obviously seeing results. With the introduction of additional new products and refinements at Open House, we are exceptionally bullish about the rest of 2019 and the upcoming 2020 retail season.”
The brand recently introduced a high-profile partnership with professional kayak fisherman, Robert Fields, who has been serving as a brand ambassador since May.
