Coachmen RV has unveiled the Max Bed Storage concept. The mattress and mattress frame lifts using struts to create a walk-in storage area under the bed. The storage area features three oversized drawers, laundry center, pillow/blanket storage, shoe storage, a padded seat and six “catch-all” openings.
The Max Bed Storage will be offered exclusively in the Spirit XTR – “eXTRa Lite, eXTRa Storage.” The Spirit XTR will complement the Spirit Ultra-Lite with a lighter platform focused primarily on smaller towable models for todays downsized tow vehicles, according to the company.
Launched in 2018 and completing its first full year on the market in 2019, the Spirit Ultra-Lite features exterior dog leash clips, fishing pole storage, and sink cover storage. Marketed exclusively in Canada by RV Care under the Northern Spirit brand name, Spirit is currently developing its dealer body in the U.S. and will be displayed in the Coachmen section at Forest River’s 12th Annual Product Expo Sept. 23-26 in Elkhart.
