Calif. RV Show Kicks Off
Covering over 1 million square feet of displays and running Oct. 4-13, the 67th annual California RV Show features more than 1,000 of the latest RV models, ranging from mini towable trailers to pop-up trailers, to 35 plus feet long travel trailers and fifth wheelers that are sure to excite those looking for something to tow with their SUV or truck.
For those who enjoy motorhomes, there are hundreds to choose from — Class B’s, C’s and luxury Class A options. If attendees aren’t sure which motorhome fits their style, they can hop on it and take it out on a test drive before making their selection.
More than 40,000 attendees will be able to meet manufacturers, get advice on the different RVs on display, and make a great deal with one of the 14 dealerships selling at the show.
There’s countless accessory and aftermarket products to personalize RVs, plus 50 informative seminars on a variety of RV-related subjects.
With all the benefits that the RV lifestyle has to offer, it’s no wonder that ownership has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years. While the RV lifestyle has gained popularity across the country, increased a whopping 204.5 percent from 2009 to 2018, it’s the Golden State that takes the top spot for number of RV shipments.
This isn’t so surprising, given that the Southern portion of the state is known as “RV central,” luring travelers with its spectacular surroundings — the awe-inspiring Joshua Tree National Park, beachfront campgrounds at Carlsbad and Cardiff-by-the-Sea and mountain hideaways like Big Bear Lake and Idyllwild.
Young couples, growing families and retirees are eager to explore the country with freedom and see the many sights the USA offers. Sixty-seven years later, RVing is still the best way to do that and the California RV Show is the ideal place to get on the road to happy camping.
