Stone Vos, a Florida-based RV aftermarket awning company, has announced that it has improved warranty terms for fabric replacements.
The privately owned company previously had a warranty term of six years for its vinyl products and 10 years for acrylic offerings. The new warranty term will now be 10 years, non-prorated, for both acrylic, vinyl and shade cloth product lines.
“Since our founding, we have always worked closely with our fabric experts and consultants to help us in selecting our fabric and thread,” said Ingrid Throgmartin, president and CEO of Stone Vos. “With the help of our textile partners in Italy and Germany, we have arrived at three of the best fabrics for RVs. All of our fabrics are manufactured to our specifications and are trademarked under our own brands.”
Stone Vos’ trademarked fabric is offered in three separate categories: CoachGuard, an acrylic fabric, Migliore, a vinyl fabric, and SolarPro, a shade cloth fabric. All three fabrics along with a PTFE thread now carry 10-year warranties.
“Our fabric testing is an ongoing process,” said Throgmartin. “We work directly with our textile mill partners and review their test results that are performed in Europe and then conduct our own tests at our facility in the harsh climate of Florida. Our latest tests for Migliore resulted in Stone Vos being able to offer the Nation’s best warranty of vinyl awning fabric replacements – 10 years.”
The new Stone Vos 10-year warranty is a non-prorated warranty and covers the fabric, thread, and workmanship. The company’s current warranty claim rate statistics, dating back more than a decade, shows a warranty claim rate of 0.03 percent and a defect rate of 0.01 percent. The new 10-year warranty recently announced will be extended to all fabric choices.
