8 Companies Share Stage for Outdoor Expo Panel
The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) is hosting an interactive Reservation Systems Panel during this fall’s Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE). This panel will give attendees a chance to engage directly with eight of the premier companies in the market to gain a better understanding of the products and services each offer.
“Following last year’s conference, it was clear that the Reservation Systems panel was an absolute hit and we needed to host it again,” said Paula Horwitz, ARVC’s executive director of education and events. “Bringing representatives from each of the systems together, in one place, allowed attendees a ‘one-stop-shop’ to understand, at a high level, what the different systems are and key features. Followed by an open Q&A, attendees are equipped to hit the Expo Hall floor and dive into conversations with their unique needs in mind. … The companies get everyone’s undivided attention and the attendees are better prepared to make decisions to meet their park’s needs. It’s a win-win.”
Representatives of seven reservation management systems and one online travel agency will take the stage to introduce their products, followed by a 40-minute questions and answer session with the audience. The Q&A session, moderated by Joe Moore, CPO, OHC, the supplier council representative on the ARVC board of directors, will allow attendees to weigh the merits of each company, to gather more information about which companies and features best suit their needs.
The panel will precede the expo portion of OHCE, allowing for customers and vendors to be more comfortable once the expo portion of the conference gets under way.
The participants in the panel will be:
- Matt Smithson, Aspira
- Brad Illich, NewBook
- Tyler Duffy, CampLife
- Candace McNamara, Staylist
- Kathleen Walsh, Advanced Outdoor Solutions
- Casey Cochran, Campspot
- Mary Moeller, Campground Commander
- Todd Sabo, RMS
OHCE is a four-day event from Nov. 4-7 in Knoxville, Tenn. It includes more than 40 educational seminars, a trade show with more than 120 vendors, tours of local campgrounds, a CPR/disaster preparedness class, and ARVC’s Awards of Excellence program.
