Multiple RV Makers on this week’s NHTSA

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has issued its weekly recall list, and several RVmanufacturers are part of it.

Daimler Vans USA is recalling its 2015-20 Freightliner Sprinter models 1500, 2500, 3500 and 4500, as well as its 2015-20 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models 1500, 2500, 3500 and 4500 because a hydraulic power steering hose may detach. The recall number is 20V663.

Jayco is recalling its 2020-21 Entegra Vision and Entegra Vision XL; its 2020-21 Jayco Alante; and its 2020-21 Jayco Precept and Precept Prestige because the engine cover does not have proper insulation. The recall number is 20V667.

Triple E RVs is recalling its 2019-20 Serenity S24CB; its 2019-21 Triple E Unity; and its 2019-21 Triple E RV Wonder because of an incorrect connector used on a propane connection. The recall number is 20V669.

Winnebago Towables is recalling its 2021 Winnebago Micro Minnie because the trailers were built with undersized axles. The recall number is 20V695.

Thor Motor Coach is recalling its 2020-21 Chateau, Daybreak, Four Winds, Freedom Elite and Quantum models because BIM/BIR is not watertight. The recall number is 20V711.

And Keystone RV is recalling its 2019-21 Keystone Outback because the frame may buckle and fail. The recall number is 20V715.
