REDARC Appoints Strategic Advisor of U.S. Business
Australia-based REDARC has announced the hiring of David Longren as strategic advisor of REDARC’s U.S. Corporation as well as the REDARC Group.
Longren comes to REDARC with a wealth of knowledge in general business leadership, innovation and product development, the company said. A former vice president and chief technology officer for Polaris, Longren brings technological expertise and a deep understanding of REDARC’s core business, which he learned in his final role at Polaris as the president for global off-road, commercial and military vehicle business.
Prior to Polaris, Longren served as senior vice president of engineering and marketing for Blount Outdoor products.
REDARC also notes that his passion for innovation and his industry knowledge has led to four successfully granted patents. Longren has also published numerous leadership, innovation and technology development papers and has been recognized as a guest speaker of NASA, addressing senior management on how to improve the speed and quality of innovation in their programs.
REDARC said the hire comes on the heels of its rapid expansion throughout the North American Market and reinforces the need to refine and solidify a long-term growth strategy.
