Grand Design RV Hosts Prominent Indiana State Representatives
Grand Design RV recently welcomed Todd Huston, speaker of the Indiana House of Representatives, Joanna King, Indiana state representative for District 49 and Doug Miller, Indiana state representative for District 48 to its corporate offices in Middlebury, Ind.
Don Clark, president and CEO of Grand Design, took the group on a production plant tour while discussing the impact and responsibility of becoming a significant employer in Elkhart County.
“It’s an honor to be visited by our state representatives,” said Clark. “Entrepreneurship, work ethic and innovation are at the heart of every Hoosier business. The opportunity to discuss these ideals with Indiana’s thought leaders and decision makers is something we don’t take lightly.”
“It’s really incredible what you do here,” said Huston. “It’s important for us to see, understand and support the industries that help Indiana run efficiently and profitably day in and day out.”
“Recreational vehicles have evolved from primitive campers to comfortable homes on the road,” said King. “The growth Grand Design RV has seen in such a short stint of time is remarkable. A local business employing many of our local workforce is a significant resource for our county.”
The tour was followed by a charity luncheon at Elcona Country Club in Bristol, Ind.
