Airxcel Expands Marketing Team
Airxcel expanded its marketing team to include a new social media and communications manager, and a new marketing coordinator. Piar Adams, VP of marketing and aftermarket sales, made the announcement.
Mary Bourassa fills the role of social media and communications manager for Airxcel’s portfolio of 11 RV-specific brands. She creates strategic B2B and B2C marketing campaigns and is responsible for customer-facing communications through new and legacy media channels.
Bourassa comes to Airxcel from the travel and tourism industry, where she worked most recently in the U.S. Virgin Islands helping companies rebuild and rebrand after the 2017 hurricane season. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Legal Studies degree in creative writing from the University of Denver.
Leah Shaikin joins Airxcel as its new marketing coordinator, where she is the lead contact and primary voice within the corporate marketing group for Suburban. Working with the respective product teams, she is a product expert who drives brand recognition for both OEM and end-user audiences through marketing initiatives.
Prior to Airxcel, Shaikin was the director of partnership recruitment and management at Clout Fantasy and a marketing intern at the University of Colorado Boulder. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Colorado Boulder.
“We’re pleased to have Mary and Leah join the Airxcel marketing team,” said Adams. “We have a talented, dynamic group poised to bring energy and global awareness to the wide range of new and innovative products our brands are debuting.”
Airxcel said it plans to soon add another marketing coordinator to provide service to its committed partners.
