Aliner Targets Families with New Trailer
Mt. Pleasant, Pa.-based Aliner is debuting its new A-frame camper, dubbed the Family Expedition. The manufacturer said the new unit is its most spacious, advantageous and creative camper to date, with 15 feet of living space and sleeping arrangements that fit a family of four.
“Our design team has truly thought of everything. I am a camper myself with younger children and can speak to the sensibility of the floor plan. The nice thing, too, is that two couples or four adults could also really enjoy a trip together — the space is definitely available,” said Brett Randall, president of Aliner. At under 2,000 pounds, nearly every vehicle can tow this lightweight camper, the company said.
A one-person job, the camper unfolds is just under sixty seconds. The interior height of more than 8 feet makes the unit comfortable for all to enjoy, Aliner said. Offered in both hard dormers and soft dormers, consumers can choose either more sunlight with a large window on the back wall, or higher insulation and an even larger spatial feel with the hard dormers.
The Family Expedition’s dinette can accompany four adults. The U-shaped dinette converts to a larger than standard queen bed with two more beds onboard — a convertible couch bed and lofted twin bed. A cassette 5-gallon toilet and massive stainless-steel sink are also included. Owners can travel year-round with both the air conditioning and electric heat pump in this model, the company said. The ceiling houses a two-way fan for added ventilation. The storage compartment underneath the sofa grants plenty of space for all home-on-the-road needs.
Food storage is “superior” with an outdoor convertible refrigerator/freezer, along with a two-burner glass covered stove and underneath storage. The two-step entry system creates ease of entering the Family Expedition. Coming standard on all models now is dual propane tanks.
“We are telling folks to order as soon as they can to ensure we have time to make your 2022 camper ready for next summer. These are such a hot item, we currently only have 16 left in dealer stock, but we are making more as fast as we can. Customer satisfaction is our number one goal,” says Allan Reeping, director of sales for Aliner.
