InterMotive Announces VP Retirement and New Director Appointments
Tracy Weatherfield has retired after three years as vice president of operations at InterMotive.
The company said that under his leadership, the production process was streamlined through the introduction of new technologies and department reorganization.
InterMotive also announced two new management promotions. James Paniagua has been appointed as director of operations. His promotion follows a 15-year career with InterMotive, previously as program manager. Paniagua’s new role includes directing all manufacturing operations.
Kara Johnson has been promoted to director of Admin and Facilities. Johnson has worked for InterMotive for 11 years in human resources and finance. Her new responsibilities incorporate day-to-day facility operations.
Commenting on the management changes, President Greg Schafer said, “Tracy played a pivotal role in advancing InterMotive’s infrastructure. We are grateful for his hard work and wish him a long and happy retirement. James and Kara both bring solid practical experience to their new positions, and we look forward to their contributions in meeting our strategic goals.”
