Lippert has introduced its new LUVERNE SolidShield Van Grille Guard that is designed to take an innovative step forward in fleet grille guard technology.
Compared to the industry-standard two-point system, Lipper said its SolidShield features a four-point mounting system that allows for maximum strength and rigidity and helps prevent damage to the vehicle. It gives the fleet an updated, sophisticated look with its vehicle-specific construction that contours to the front of the cargo van, creating a sleek, stylish appearance, the company said.
The SolidShield has vehicle-specific, high-strength steel mounting brackets and a simple installation technique that doesn’t require the use of a drill. It also features a one-piece two-inch tubular steel ring assembly for reliable strength and rubber extrusions that are formed over metal strips on the uprights. Additionally, light brackets are available (sold separately) for mounting aftermarket lights. For corrosion resistance and durable protection, the SolidShield is finished with an E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coating for ultimate preservation.
