Annual Truma Spring Clean-up Expands This Year
For the second straight year Truma employees will once again be celebrating Earth Day by cleaning up the roadways around the company’s North American Headquarters in Elkhart, Ind., and it said that this year, it will have help. In March, Truma invited other companies and organizations in the RV industry to join in for its Second Annual Truma Spring Clean-up Event. Volunteers from Century Chemical Corp. and the RV Women’s Alliance will be adding much-needed helping hands.
“Caring for our environment and giving back to our community has always been part of our DNA as a company,” said Truma CEO Gerhard Hundsberger. “We are grateful that other organizations in the RV industry feel the same way we do and are willing to contribute to our efforts. We hope to see this event continue to grow.”
If anyone reading this would like to get involved, Truma said simply meet at its headquarters at 2800 Harman Drive at noon on Friday, April 22nd. The company will provide safety vests and work gloves, but it asks that you wear clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Volunteers will be working along County Road 6 and County Road 17 from 12 – 5 p.m. on April 22nd, with a volunteer dinner to follow.
