RVs Move America Week to Feature First Emerging Leaders Coalition Gathering
RVs Move America Week, scheduled for June 5-9 in Washington, D.C., is an annual event where volunteers from across the RV industry collectively work over two days of committee meetings to build a strategic roadmap to help define future growth of the $114 billion dollar RV industry, according to the RV Industry Association.
Participants gain insight on the state of the RV industry, on the policies of the administration, and forge relationships beneficial to the future growth of the RV market. Fitting with the goals of the event, this year a new group will be conducting its first-ever in-person coalition meeting.
“The RV industry has a rich legacy of culture and unity, built over decades, and it’s critical for our future success and sustainability that we maintain our collaboration towards common goals,” RVIA said in a statement. “Enter the Emerging Leaders Coalition, which was recently developed by the RV Industry Association to strengthen industry collaboration by identifying, recruiting, developing, engaging and retaining emerging industry leaders to harness and elevate their unique perspectives.”
The Coalition will be meeting from 10:15 a.m. till noon on Monday, June 6, at the Mayflower Hotel, the host venue of this year’s event. Members are welcome to attend the meeting to get an inside look at what the coalition is working on.
“With American interest in the outdoors being stronger than ever, and consumers flocking towards camping and RVing experiences, our impact as an industry continues to grow,” says Samantha Rocci, senior manager of government and political affairs. “It’s more important than ever that the RV industry comes together to establish and grow significant personal and professional relationships that will bring fresh perspective and ambition to current and future issues facing the industry.”
