Lance Camper Mfg. announced several vital projects and the doubling down on its commitment to offer the highest quality ultra-light travel trailers and truck campers on the market.
At Lance’s state-of-the-art facility in Lancaster, California, the company recently installed its eighth C.R. Onsrud Pro Series machine. Lance said it pioneered the use of automated CNC (computer numerical controlled) machines in the RV manufacturing industry in the early 2000s and continues to use the latest technology. This newest investment contributes to the highest possible quality manufacturing processes available by delivering precise, consistent components to the assembly line, the company said.
In an investment in its people, Lance said it implemented REV Group’s company-wide initiative for an aggressive Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing certification program, resulting in numerous benefits to the staff and to the processes in place, which support high quality manufacturing and customer satisfaction.
Finally, the company has recently recruited some very knowledgeable and passionate staff to lead the quality strategy well into the future.
