Power electronics company BMPRO has hired Alex Bugeja as chief operations officer.
Bugeja has more than 25 years of industry experience and has experience at Australia’s Reece Group and Jayco Recreational Vehicles Australia. According to his new company, his skills include working in complex manufacturing and distribution environments as well as collaborating with multiple stakeholders and partners, both locally and internationally.
As part of his new role, Bugeja will lead and scale BMPRO’s Supply Chain & Production, Research & Development, Engineering Services, Quality, and Executive Service teams – assuming the responsibility of ensuring operational excellence, assurance and delivery of high-quality solutions to the company’s global customer base and partners.

Bugeja is joining the company not long after BMPRO’s hiring of Jasmin Lakhani, its new chief financial officer. The BMPRO brand is approaching its 10-year anniversary, although its parent company, SETEC, has been around 54 years.
