RV manufacturer Gulf Stream Coach bills itself as the largest independent, family-owned RV manufacturer, and that’s quite a feat – considering all the consolidation that has gone on.

Since its launch on March 7, 1983, Gulf Stream Coach has produced more than 400,000 units – ranging from Class C motorhomes to travel trailers and more.

Jim Shea founded the company and today his son, Dan Shea, is in charge. He was in Elkhart for Open House Week, celebrating the company’s ruby anniversary by greeting long-time dealer/partners and new friends alike.
