FRVTA Convention Begins Today in Florida
The Florida RV Trade Association’s annual three-day conference kicks off today at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa.
Running through Sept. 10, the conference is designed to bring industry friends and members together to build leadership, expand knowledge, develop new ideas and share experiences that will help businesses become more successful. It’s a great way to meet FRVTA members from around the state and country in a casual and comfortable atmosphere, organizers say.
Members attending include RV dealers and manufacturers, campground owners/operators, supplier companies, financial institutions, insurance firms and service providers, as well as their spouses and management employees. The weekend includes the FRTVA’s annual business meeting and the installation of the incoming board of directors.
Dave Kelly, executive director of the FRVTA, will kick things off officially Friday morning at 8 a.m. during the general session, and throughout the conference there will be in-depth workshops on a variety of topics of interest to attendees, as well as shorter breakout sessions with training and other information that everyone can take back home with them and implement at their respective businesses.
And, of course, it’s Florida, so plenty of time for networking, delicious eats and drinks and spectacular sunsets.
