Ember to Debut 29MRS at America’s Largest RV Show
Ember Recreational Vehicles will be debuting its newest and what it calls its most spacious floorplan addition to its Touring Edition product line, the 29MRS, alongside its dealer-partner Meyer’s RV Superstores, at the 2023 America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The Touring Edition 29MRS is a spacious couple’s coach featuring Ember’s Murphy bed design in the front, creating a “Flex Suite” for those who desire versatility in their RV while traveling. This front bedroom with a lockable door and Ember’s “Stargazer” skylight can be an office or extra lounge space by day and bed by night with a residential 60-inch x 80-inch queen mattress with USB and 120-Volt power access and LED lighting on each side. (For those who prefer a stationary bed, Ember also offers a 29RS variation.) The bedroom features a wardrobe cabinet with hanging rod and flip-up shelf that is also washer/dryer prepped.
The rear of the coach has a spacious living area with a full-length tri-fold hide-a-bed rear sofa and theater seating directly across from a 40-inch, 12-volt TV with built-in Bluetooth sound bar above the standard fireplace. The kitchen has ample storage with an adjustable-shelf pantry, standalone island with flip-up countertop for additional countertop space, and coffee hutch with extra cabinets. It also comes fully equipped with a 10-cubic-foot, 12-Volt refrigerator; convection microwave/air fryer combination; three-burner cooktop; 21-inch oven with pots and pans drawer; seamless countertops; subway-tile backsplash; soft-close drawers; and a large double-basin stainless steel sink. The bathroom features a 30-inch by 36-inch shower, as well as a vanity and medicine cabinet that provide the necessary storage for bathroom essentials.
The Touring Edition has a drop-frame chassis featuring more than 50 cubic feet of front pass-through storage and Dexter torsion axles with 16-inch Goodyear Endurance LRE tires featuring standard TPMS. Other road-ready safety enhancements include Ember’s exclusive offer of the CUB Lane Change Assist (LCA) System standard on all Touring Edition models, featuring dual-radar and warning lights, providing visual assistance to the tow vehicle driver for making safer lane changes.
Each Touring Edition unit is built with five-sided laminated aluminum frame construction including double-sided Azdel Onboard composite walls and Ember’s exclusive and proprietary Evermore composite flooring. Borrowing a feature from European RVs, Ember has outfitted the Touring Edition with Caravan dual-pane acrylic windows with integrated radiant barrier shades and screens that open wide for ventilation and airflow. The Touring Edition also comes with a dual-ducted “whisper quiet” 15,000 BTU roof-mounted air conditioner with integrated soft start and a 30,000 BTU furnace.
“We’re super excited to debut the 29MRS at Hershey this year – it’s exactly the layout show-goers have been asking for. Our customers will be able to see the luxury and Ember differences when they walk into this new floorplan, our largest offering yet,” said Chris Barth, Ember’s founder, chief operations officer and head of product development. “Touring Edition started with a focus on building a camping-correct travel trailer with higher quality materials and better componentry, and the 29MRS is exceptionally good at showing what our team can design and build with intentionality.”
The Touring Edition features 10 floorplans ranging in length from 26 feet up to 36 feet, with a mix of both family-friendly bunkhouses and options perfect for couples.
