Derald Bontrager joined the management team of Ember Recreational Vehicles in an advisory role, as well as a shareholder. Bontrager brings nearly 50 years of RV industry experience and a well-earned, respected reputation to the Ember team.

Bontrager most recently served as Jayco’s CEO from 2001 through 2020, leading the organization through “The Great Recession” and the acquisition by THOR in 2016. Before stepping into the role of CEO, Bontrager served in many different positions at various levels of the company including executive leadership, sales, engineering and transportation.
