Registration Open for RVTI’s Level 3 Electrical Workshop
The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) opened registration for its Level 3 electrical specialty course, taking place March 12-14. Registration is limited to 24 trainees and expected to fill up quickly.
Attendees will receive a total of 24 hours of training throughout the two-day course. The workshop is designed to cover all the necessary requirements to become Level 3 certified in electricals. Individuals must already have an RVTI Level 2 certification or higher to attend this event.
Subjects covered by the training include inverters, transfer switches, energy management systems, surge protection, generators and much more. The workshop, which is taking place at the RVTI’s facility in Elkhart, Indiana, will also include classes hosted by Furrion Power Distribution and Xantrex. The cost for enrollment is $25.00.
The 2024 Level 3 training workshops focus on five different specialty areas for RV technicians who are interested in further developing their knowledge of RV systems and components. The electrical course is one of these five specialties. Registration for the additional four (listed below) will be available in the coming weeks and months.
- Week of June 3: Level 3 Chassis Specialty
- Week of July 8: Level 3 Slide Out Specialty
- Week of September 16: Level 3 Electronic Specialty
- Week of December 2: Level 3 Appliance Specialty
Each workshop will cover all the training hours needed in the specific specialty area. After successfully completing the training, each participant will have obtained enough hours to earn their Level 3 Specialty in that category. Those who attend all five will earn their Level 4 Master Certification. Please note that all five of these classes will be hosted at the RVTI’s facility in Elkhart, Indiana.
