GE Appliances Partners With Kentucky Glamping Resort
The following is a report from WDRB.
GE Appliances has entered a unique partnership with the glamping resort next door to Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
According to a news release, Progress Park Airstream Resort and Event Venue is now serving as a test location for GE Appliance’s Recreational Living line, which is specifically developed for use in motorhomes and campers. The company has provided the resort with appliances for many of its seven Airstream rental units, including rooftop air conditioning units, ovens, refrigerators and microwaves.
In addition to getting feedback on its Recreational Living line, GE Appliances plans to use Progress Park for promotional and marketing purposes and as a real-world setting for its products.
“We love that this partnership enhances our guests’ experience at the Park by equipping them with top-of-the-line appliances while showcasing another local company right in our backyard,” Val Pifer, one of the owners of Progress Park, said in a written statement.
Progress Park offers glampers a place to connect with nature while enjoying the conveniences of the city. It features seven Airstreams, two houses and a bunk house, a 2-acre aerated pond for water activities, sandy beaches, a nature trail, a covered Pavilion, and a playground for kids.
