NHTSA Lists Weekly Recalls

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following weekly vehicular recalls:

Jayco is recalling certain 2023-2025 Entegra Aspire Class A motorhomes. The camera control module may have been installed upside down and flush to the floor, which can allow it to overheat and prevent the camera image from displaying. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9903607.

Jayco is also recalling certain 2023-2024 Jayco Terrain, and Entegra Launch motorhomes. The main wiring harness may chafe against the drive shaft and short circuit, which can result in a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control. The recall number is 24V310000.

Jayco is also recalling certain Jayco Swift, Swift LI, Entegra Coach Ethos, and Ethos LI motorhomes. The driver seat belt warning light and audible chime may not activate as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.” The recall number is 24V312000.

Forest River is recalling certain 2011, 2016-2019, 2021-2024 Rockport Work Trucks. The rear liftgate may have been installed without a U-bolt on the driver and passenger side, which can allow the liftgate to fall to the ground when loaded. Forest River’s number for this recall is 65-1700.

Airstream is recalling certain 2023-2024 Atlas motorhomes. The generator may have been installed without a heat shield, which can expose the subflooring to excessive heat. The recall number is 24V314000.

Heartland Recreational Vehicles is recalling certain 2024 Eddie Bauer travel trailers. The tire placards indicate an incorrect tire size. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, “Wheels and Rims – Other Than Passenger Cars.” The recall number is 24V315000.

Daimler Vans USA (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2024 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter vehicles. Due to a software error in the electronic stability program (ESP), the force required to stop the vehicle may increase, possibly requiring an extended distance to stop. DVUSA’s number for this recall is VS3EBOOSTF.

Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2017-2025 Revel, 2020-2025 Navion, Porto, View, Vita, 2022-2023 Adventure Van, and 2024-2025 Ekko motorhomes. Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wires can be caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seats are adjusted. Winnebago’s number for this recall is 185.
