Open House 2025: Grand Design RV

The big news for Grand Design is the company’s first-ever motorized Class C: the Lineage Series M 25FW.

“We are beyond thrilled to introduce the Lineage 25FW at this year’s Open House! This model represents the heart and soul of our incredible team at Grand Design,” says Tommy Hall, Grand Design general manager. “Their passion and dedication have brought this vision to life, creating a motorhome that truly stands out in both innovation and luxury. I couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and creativity that went into making the Lineage 25FW a reality. Our product manager, Mike Hums, whose vision and ability to drive this product to be different, has been instrumental in its development. We can’t wait for everyone to experience it and see what makes it so special!”

New floorplans also abound for 2025, including the following:

  • Transcend One: 151RB, 151BH
  • Transcend Xplor: 20MKX, 22RBX, 24 and 26BHX, 25MLX
  • Transcend: 245RLT, 265BHT, 295QBT, 305BHT, 335BHT, 315RKT
  • Serenova: 160LG

  • Influence: 3203GK, 3804DS
  • Solitude: 388MBS
  • Momentum: 29GS

One of the standout additions for Grand Design for 2025 will be the Ultrafabrics leather package, which is now standard in select Solitude models, but will now be available on all Solitude and Lineage models. This premium Ultrafabrics leather “offers a blend of elegance and durability that truly sets our interiors apart,” the company says. “Known for its superior comfort and easy maintenance, Ultrafabrics leather is soft to the touch, resistant to wear and incredibly easy to clean. This means our customers can enjoy a luxurious, high-end feel without worrying about the rigors of the road.”

Grand Design will also have a new option for its Transcend One and Xplor product lines: the Off Grid Solar Option.

“This addition is designed for those who crave adventure without boundaries,” the company says.

Equipped with a powerful 200-watt solar panel and a 30-amp Bluetooth-enabled PWM solar controller, the Off Grid Solar Option allows for monitoring and managing from a smartphone.

Additional features will also be included across Grand Design’s offerings for 2025, including:

  • Storage Solution — “In our Solitude and Influence models, we have integrated innovative storage solutions that maximize space and enhance functionality,” Grand Design says. “These designs include hidden compartments, modular shelving and multiuse storage areas that cater to the needs of modern RVers. Our goal is to provide ample storage without compromising on style or convenience, ensuring that our customers can bring everything they need for their adventures.”
  • ABS Braking System — All Reflection models will now be outfitted with an advanced ABS (anti-lock braking system) for enhanced safety. Improving braking performance by preventing wheel lockup during sudden stops, ABS ensures better control and stability.
“This upgrade enhances the overall safety of our Reflection RVs, providing peace of mind to our customers as they embark on their travels,” Grand Design says.
  • New Interiors — Across all of its brands, Grand Design has revamped its interiors for a lighter, more modern look. Including fresh color palettes, sleek finishes and thoughtfully designed layouts, the company says these changes create an inviting living space.

“As we look ahead to 2025, one of the most prominent trends in the RV industry is the shift toward interior designs that closely mimic residential styles,” the company says. “Customers are increasingly seeking RV interiors that provide the comfort, aesthetics and functionality of their homes. At Grand Design, we are capitalizing on this trend by making significant changes across all our product lines. Our new interiors feature a lighter, more modern look that appeals to contemporary tastes while ensuring that every RV feels like a true home away from home.”

“Our goal is to create spaces that resonate with the modern homeowner,” says Michelle Blosser, Grand Design’s interior designer. “We’ve introduced lighter color palettes, sleek finishes and thoughtfully designed layouts to provide a fresh, inviting atmosphere in every RV. By incorporating these residential elements, we’re not just enhancing aesthetics but also improving functionality and comfort. This approach ensures that our customers enjoy the best of both worlds — the freedom of the road and the coziness of home.”

Focusing on the interiors across all the company’s brands is what will catch dealers’ and customers’ eyes for 2025, the company says.

“Our new interiors are truly a game changer. We’ve meticulously crafted each space to reflect a modern yet timeless design that will leave dealers and customers in awe,” says Logan McBride, Solitude/Influence product manager. “The blend of lighter tones, high-end materials and smart layouts creates an inviting and luxurious atmosphere. These updates not only elevate the visual appeal but also significantly improve the overall living experience. We believe that once dealers and customers step inside our 2025 models, they’ll immediately recognize the superior quality and thoughtful design that sets Grand Design apart.”

Another area Grand Design focused on for 2025 is additional entry-level offerings. Paying attention to what it’s seeing in the marketplace, and with inflation hitting all Americans, the company says it is more important than ever to offer quality-built, affordable products that a multitude of families can afford. With that in mind, Grand Design will expand its Transcend product line, featuring three distinct segments: Transcend One, Transcend Xplor and Transcend.

“Designed to meet the evolving needs of RV consumers, each 2025 model delivers unparalleled quality, affordability and versatility, ensuring a memorable experience for all travelers,” the company says.

“We believe that by introducing consumers to the Transcend models, and providing them an exceptional experience, we can continue to build a loyal customer base that will eventually explore our higher-end products as their needs and preferences evolve,” says Matt Eppers, Transcend product manager. “Our aim is to create a seamless and satisfying experience for our customers at every stage of their RV journey.”

According to Grand Design, the most successful models for 2024 included the Reflection 22RK, Momentum 27G, Influence 2903RL and Solitude 310GK.

“As we cruise into the latter half of 2024 and gear up for 2025, the RV market is looking bright and full of adventure,” the company says. “That is, despite the bumps of higher interest rates and inflation, the love for RVing is as strong as ever. People are embracing remote work and outdoor fun, driving the demand for RVs to new heights.”

After some supply chain hiccups, dealers are bouncing back, Grand Design says, and more RVs are hitting the market with “a noticeable shift at both ends of the market. Some toward more entry-level models and then again toward luxurious, feature-packed models. It’s clear that people are looking to enter the market and begin their first adventure or have their home away from home at the ready,” according to the company.

“We’re excited about where the RV market is headed. The latest trends show a strong passion for RVing, especially for high-end models that offer all the bells and whistles,” says Rob Groover, general manager for Solitude, Influence and Momentum. “At Grand Design, we’re right on track to meet this demand with our exciting 2025 lineup. Our innovative designs and quality are set to keep us leading the pack.”

Grand Design will display at Plant 14 at 11611 county Road 2, Middlebury, Indiana 46540.
