Cequent Hits the Track for Web Program

Cequent Performance Products changed gears with its latest episode of ION Cequent.

Angela Howard stepped out of the studio and hosted the piece from Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Mich.

Cequent sponsors Brad Keselowski Racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and has now for several years. This season, 19-year-old Tyler Reddick is the sole driver of the No. 19 truck, which proudly displays the Cequent brand Draw-Tite. CPP also hosted its company picnic at the track this past Saturday during the Careers for Veterans 200 – something it’s done now for the past three years.

“Simply put, racing is great exposure; it allows us to put one of our premium brands in front of millions of people every race, regardless of whether they’re watching at the track or at home,” said John Walsh, vice president of sales and marketing. “It’s also a great way to bring our employees together, strengthen camaraderie, and keep everyone excited about the work that we do.”

ION Cequent is a monthly program that uses a newscast format to take the viewer behind the scenes of the company, its brands, customers, products, employees, sponsorships, and more.
