Dometic’s Redesigned Water Heater Has a New Gas Valve
Sponsored by Dometic
Long, hot showers are a guilty pleasure that many of us rarely think about twice. For those who spend quite a bit of time in their RV, it is a different story. RV owners are seeking what traditional homeowners take for granted.
They too want long hot showers, wherever their adventures take them. After listening to RV owners, full-timers and weekend warriors, Dometic has redesigned its popular water heater to provide users exactly what they want – a more comfortable showering experience.
The redesigned water heater has a new gas valve, burner assembly, and burner tube; increasing the BTUs from 8,800 to 10,000, which maximizes heat transfer for improved efficiency. This water heater provides hot water faster and longer than comparable models on the market.
Available in three models: gas only, gas & electric, and XT gas & electric, the water heater is made with a corrosion-resistant aluminum tank. It does not require an anode rod, reducing maintenance and saving the owner time and money.
As an added convenience, the new Dometic 6-gallon water heater fits into all existing 6-gallon cut-outs, making switching to Dometic an easy decision.
