Fun Town RV announced it will host Stars, Stripes & Savings, a free Fourth of July celebration, at its Cleburne Campground on Saturday, July 4. Open to customers, families and the public, the event pairs RV deals with a full day of live entertainment, food, drone and fireworks show, Fun Town RV said in a recent release.
The day begins with RV deals from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., giving shoppers access to Fun Town RV’s full inventory of new and used travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers and motorhomes — all backed by the company’s Lowest Price Guarantee, Fun Town RV said. At 1 p.m., the Battle of the Backyard BBQ Championship takes center stage, inviting guests to watch three competitors battle it out for the title, each coached by a heavyweight: Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Michael Irvin, five-time Pro Bowl tight end Jay Novacek and Fun Town RV Chairman and CEO Jarrod McGhee. Fans can watch — and vote — as the competition heats up through 3 p.m.
Live music follows at 4 p.m. with Baylor Rose Band opening the stage, followed by Jamie Richards Band, and country legend Mark Chesnutt headlining the evening. The Texas Grillmaster Smoker Semi Truck will be on-site throughout the day serving craft BBQ. At approximately 9 p.m., the night closes with a drone and fireworks show.
