GenTent Safety Canopies debuted the GenTent XKi, a direct mounting wet-weather canopy system to protect generators in virtually any wet weather condition.
The patented GenTent system is now available for emergency responders, RV owners, tailgaters, campers, food trucks and construction sites. The company will showcase the GenTent XKi at the upcoming National Hardware Show, May 5-7, in Las Vegas, Nev., (Booth No. 5140) and at the Governor’s Hurricane Conference, May 10-15, in Orlando, Fla., (Booth No. 614).
“As a food truck service based in central Illinois, we experience a great deal of inclement weather and need to rely on our portable generators to operate in any conditions,” says Daniel Krause, owner, The Cracked Truck. “We purchased many GenTents to keep our generators fully protected from the elements and found it extremely easy and quick to assemble and disassemble. Now we can ensure uninterrupted business by operating our generators without worrying about them being ruined by rain – a great advantage for anyone in our service industry.”
Marine grade, made in the USA, and backed by a 3-year materials and workmanship warranty the new inverter generator protection gear includes a four-corner strapping system, especially designed adjustable bracing and frame mounting arms, fiberglass frame system and marine grade Stormbracer Edition cover.
Nearly 200 GenTents are already in use by the National Guard CERFP teams across 32 bases covering the U.S., Puerto Rico and Hawaii.
