What makes Stephanie stand out in the RV industry?

In what ways has she gone above and beyond for RV World?
Since joining the team on Oct. 1, 2013, Stephanie has gone above and beyond its expectations nearly every day. Whether it’s squeezing in a service emergency, troubleshooting a nearly impossible service issue, working with outside and out-of-area service departments on behalf of traveling customers, or helping one of our team members with any issue, going above and beyond is the norm for Stephanie.
What does she add to RV World’s culture?
Stephanie has created a culture of personal responsibility and accountability in which each team member can thrive, grow and find purpose and meaning in their work roles. She has also created a culture in which each employee feels safe, listened to, empowered and appreciated. By creating this kind of atmosphere, Stephanie has created a culture of team members that are engaged and motivated to do their best work.
How does she contribute to the ongoing support of women in the RV industry?
Stephanie has hired and trained several women in the workplace who have followed her example of excellent leadership and have become leaders themselves. RV World’s parts manager and warranty co-manager are both leaders as well and have been mentored by Stephanie.
What advice does Stephanie have for women aiming to thrive in the RV industry?
“Surround yourself with a good team of people and to do your best to create an environment in which each individual team member can grow, thrive and find support from other team members. There’s nothing stronger than a group of individuals coming together in tandem to accomplish a goal. Be yourself, know yourself and be aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Build upon your strengths and use them to support others, and rely upon your team to support you on areas you may need help in. As an individual in our industry, you can accomplish great things. As part of a positive, fundamentally strong team, you can accomplish wonders.”
