Ashley Bontrager Lehman is the granddaughter of the founders of Jayco but she’s making her own mark on the industry as founder, president and CEO of Ember Recreational Vehicles. As the head of a core team of four, Lehman and her co-founders set out to launch a different kind of RV company, taking the lessons she learned from her dad and uncles and putting her own spin on its internal and external culture. So far so good – they’ve had no trouble assembling a work force when the Elkhart-area labor market was tight and they just celebrated the building of their 1,000th unit.
