The day after he graduated college as a Michigan Wolverine, John Sammut’s professional path took a detour. He traded in an education steering him toward beakers and test tubes to one that would lead him ultimately into the world of RVs. After 26 years in the industry and nearly 20 of those with Newmar, Sammut – the “u” is long – is just weeks away from retirement. He’s happy to share his insights and perspective from the past decades – just don’t ask him too much about his retirement plans. Newmar has its annual owners meeting soon, so there’s more work to be done.
