Lithium-ion batteries are not new to the RV world, but their popularity in it is growing. What was a few select motorized manufacturers offering lithium-ion technology not long ago has blossomed into more widespread use. Some towable manufacturers are offering lithium-ion and solar packages as options or even standard in some cases, and as the pandemic has brought new demographics into the lifestyle, those consumers are responding to this alternative to lead-acid batteries. Wade Seaburg is chief revenue officer for Dragonfly Energy and he discusses where lithium-ion technology has been and where it’s going.
