Aqua-Hot Heating Systems celebrated a milestone in its founders’ charitable organization, which passed the $1 million mark in grants recently.

Harold “Hap” Enander’s Enander Family Foundation Fund first gave a grant to Young Life, a Christian organization that serves children and young adults, and most recently awarded a $5,000 grant to a startup ministry in Michigan, allowing the Foundation to surpass the $1 million mark, according to a news release from Aqua-Hot.

“In every aspect of his life, Hap was a forward thinker,” Aqua-Hot President and CEO Paul Harter said. “He was a pioneer in hydronic heating, an inveterate inventor and tinkerer, had the foresight to protect his company, and could see the positive impact that his kindness and generosity could have by creating the foundation.”
