Effective April 1, Little Guy Worldwide, a marketer that helped in resurrecting the teardrop trailer, will do business as Liberty Outdoors. The newly hatched company, as stated in a letter released yesterday to dealers and various retailers, is “a robust manufacturing and distribution company of high-end recreational products for outdoor enthusiasts worldwide.”

Based on what has been released so far, the company is taking great strides to channel a neo-retro brand identity torn from the pages of “Boys’ Life” magazine with a line of trailers that harken back to the iconic RVing days of yore. Two RV manufacturers and a canoe company come under the new Liberty Outdoors umbrella: ParkLiner, Serro Scotty, and Bear Creek Canoes & Kayaks. Little Guy teardrop trailers also will continue its line under the same name, but with new redesigns.
