2018 Aftermarket Executive Conference Planning Moves Ahead

Last week, RV Industry Association’s Aftermarket Task Force met to discuss the upcoming 2018 Aftermarket Executive Conference. The annual, three-day event, enables suppliers and distributors in the RV industry to meet and develop strategies for expanding their business in the coming year, including the introduction of new products and services. The conference also provides many social opportunities, where vital business information from successful members of the industry will be shared.

During the meeting, the task force discussed and approved a schedule that includes 33 one-on-one “appointment sessions” between RV suppliers and distributors. The 2018 event also will include new supplier previews every morning during the conference, allowing new entrants into the market to show off their products and set meetings before the day starts.

Keynote speakers will include RVIA President Frank Hugelmeyer, as well as a dealer council where suppliers and distributors will be able to obtain valuable feedback from their industry partners.

Finally, several awards will be presented during the conference including Product of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Distributor of the Year and the Jim Barker Award, the aftermarket industry’s highest honor.

The 2018 Aftermarket Executive Conference will take place Aug. 13 to 16 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort in Bonita Springs, Fla. Online registration will open in the next few weeks.
