Adventurer Mfg. Launches New Truck Camper
Adventurer Mfg., manufacturer of the Adventurer and Eagle Cap, has launched its new brand, Scout, and its first model, the Scout Olympic. This new truck camper is comprised of components that are completely detachable and can be used independently from the unit.
The first model of the fleet is the Scout Olympic 6.5, which fits smaller, mid-sized import and domestic trucks, has a base weight of 1,133 pounds, can sleep up to six individuals, supports off-grid travels, and is available for purchase starting at $19,980.
The unit’s components include a dining table, water storage, battery, and more. The exterior storage tray doubles as a functional table-top, letting users cook and spend more time outside.
Scout includes a pop-up tent that increases sleeping capacity by two, and can be accessed from inside the camper, a propane real flame 4.5 BTU fireplace, and removeable camper jacks, which lower the travel weight and grant more maneuverability.
The units feature a gravity-fed water system, detachable water storage with filtration, an 160-watt monocrystalline solar panel, a lithium power station with built-in invertor, and an optional propane fireplace.
Scout comes with a 3-year structural warranty.
Later this year Scout will be launching two more models to fit more truck sizes: the Kenai and the Yoho. The Kenai will be the biggest of the fleet, including a full bathroom, wardrobe, and more exterior storage. The Yoho will be the smallest and lightest, made especially for smaller import sized trucks. Both will honor the simplistic, versatile nature that Scout as a brand represents.
