AIMS Power Releases Newest Charging Regulator
Reno-based AIMS Power has released its new line of battery charging regulators used in 12-volt DC applications. The company said the regulator protects batteries, allowing users to use alternators and other charging devices to safely charge lithium and other battery technologies.
This product allows users to use different battery technologies in the same application, and lithium batteries can be used in any application, most commonly alternators because the regulator prevents the battery from overcharging. Its compact and simple 2-wire terminal configuration allows for easy installation in common 2-wire 12 Volt applications: vehicle, wind, hydro or any other 12 Volt systems. The regulators are available in two sizes, 100- and 200-amp.
“Our customers invest in upgraded battery systems and the regulator gives our customers peace of mind when charging lithium batteries using an alternator or other unstable 12V charging sources,” said Bruce de Jong, president of AIMS Power.
Established in 2001, AIMS Power has an additional distribution facility in Davie, Florida, that will open in 2003, aside from its HQ in Reno.
