Airstream announced that the brand’s Interstate model is the number one selling Class B diesel motorhome in the U.S. for the sixth consecutive year, according to Statistical Surveys Inc.’s Class B Diesel Share Summary. The Airstream Interstate captured a 30 percent market share in the diesel Class B segment for 2017.
“The quality of the travel experience offered by the Interstate is unparalleled, and our incredible dealers across the country continue to do an exceptional job showcasing the Interstate line,” said Bob Wheeler, Airstream president and CEO. “It’s no surprise that the Interstate continues to lead the diesel segment, and with such a strong dealer network we look forward to continued growth in this market segment.”
Airstream’s Interstate touring coach family, which added a special Tommy Bahama special edition last year, includes Corian countertops, handcrafted cabinetry, marine-grade plank-style flooring and an advanced Mercedes-Benz safety system. The Interstate has a starting MSRP of $165,878.
