American Coach Collaborates With Meyer Shank Racing

American Coach, the luxury motorhome brand that is part of REV Recreation Group, announced a multiyear agreement with Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) to provide the team with its “MSR Command Center.”

MSR fields entries in both the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, totaling 26 race weekends throughout the season. With the team’s growing programs, MSR was in need of a suitable place for trackside meetings. The answer – the MSR Command Center – an American Dream coach with a floorplan designed exclusively for MSR which features a conference room in addition to a seating area, workstation, kitchen and half bath.

“We’re very excited about our partnership with American Coach,” said Meyer Shank Racing co-owner Mike Shank. “As a team that competes in both INDYCAR and IMSA full-time, we need to be able to have a place where we can work without distraction and host meetings with guests and partners. The MSR Command Center, powered by American Coach, does just that.”

American Coach has had a long history in racing including a multi-year collaboration with Hélio Castroneves, who is a driver for MSR, and is an elite race car driver and four-time Indy 500 champion, as well as MSR’s third entry into the 2025 Indianapolis 500. Castroneves travelled for several years in a custom designed American Eagle. In a paid partnership, he worked closely with the American Coach design team to fully customize the luxury RV to meet his specific needs to travel from track to track with his family.

“We are delighted to continue our relationship with Meyer Shank Racing and be able to create and supply the MSR Command Center,” said Jeff Bigelow, general manager of REV Recreation Group, Inc. “We are excited about the potential offered by the alternative work and meeting space floorplan. In place of a bedroom, this floorplan allows for a conference room along with necessities such as a kitchen and bathroom.”

The next stop on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule is the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix from May 30 to June 1 in Detroit, Michigan.
