Americana Tire Hires Besst to Fill New Marketing Role
Columbus, Ohio-based Americana Tire and Wheel, the distribution arm for Kenda that serves the North American RV, towable trailer, utility, marine and agricultural industries, recently added Kim Besst to its senior team in the newly created product marketing manager role.
Besst’s initial responsibilities include identifying current brand growth opportunities and supporting marketing efforts, as well as developing longer-term integrated marketing strategies to increase product sales and market share.
“A true integrated marketing professional, we are thrilled to welcome Kim to the team,” said Dave Craig, president of Americana Tire and Wheel. “Her product brand experience is the perfect fit for this new role – one of significant importance to our group in its anticipated future contribution to our overall brand positioning, product development, communications and education, both at the customer and consumer levels.”
The company said Besst brings a deep expertise in consumer product goods and a proven track record in growing brands and improving profitability, plus, it says, her data analytics and sales support skills will enhance ATW’s product positioning and aid in expanding its customer base.
Previously, Besst was senior brand manager at national restaurant chain Bob Evans, responsible for strategy development and execution to grow business through in-store and digital media. Other past employment includes being a managing director at Ryan Partnership, responsible for working with major brands such as Nestlé, and she is currently a board member at Thrivent Financial.
