Nick WestabyAqua-Hot Heating Systems, a brand of Airxcel that has made hydronic heating solutions for motorhomes and travel trailers since 1984, has named Nick Westaby director of operations. Selma Salihagic, general manager, made the announcement.
In this role, Westaby manages the comprehensive day-to-day operations of the company’s production and supply chain. With extensive leadership experience in manufacturing and technical sales roles, his distinctive point of view complements those of the other product experts at Aqua-Hot.
Westaby comes to the RV industry by way of a career in lean global manufacturing. He was employed by Halliburton for 21 years where, most recently, he held the position of senior manager, global continuous improvement. He has a MSc degree in project management from the University of Aberdeen and BSc Hons degree from Robert Gordon University, both in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.
