Aqua-Hot hosted its annual Partner Meeting last week, welcoming 56 supplier and dealership attendees to the Heritage Todd Creek Golf Club in Thornton, Colo., for an annual golf outing and to outline the company’s plans for 2016.
The north-Denver meet-up took place Aug. 20, and included a presentation from Aqua-Hot CEO Paul Harter and Director of Operations Troy Bell.
“It was a day to have fun – because we had a golf tournament – but also to update (our partners) on what’s going on with the company,” Aqua-Hot Marketing Coordinator Lauren Burnett said.
Harter and Bell spoke to the group about the company’s plans for the upcoming year, which include a new partnership with FourFront Colorado, a federally funded organization that helps network manufacturers in the state to provide easier access to supply chain resources and training opportunities. Harter is the chair-elect of the organization.
Following the luncheon, Aqua-Hot partners participated in a roundtable breakout session, sharing information about their companies, and discussing the upcoming season.
“During the round-robin session, everyone got to talk to people from different companies, and what it is they’re working on, and what they’re excited about with their company,” Burnett said.
Also during the meeting, Aqua-Hot named its Partner of the Year award, which was presented to Bois D’Arc International, a Longview, Texas-based supplier of heating and cooling coils.
The day before the gathering, Burnett said about eight vendors arrived early to tour the company’s Frederick, Colo., facility.
“A lot of our vendors have seen our facility, particularly our newer one because we moved from Fort Lupton, Colo., a few years ago, but it’s a lot nicer and we’re proud of it,” she said.
